NSP EXTENSION for MEDICAL and NURSING courses

 Overview:

     Delays in the counseling process of the medical and nursing courses made  NSP scholarship to extend the online application for these courses up to the 15th of April, 2022.

     The objective of the Ministry of education's NSP/CSSS scholarship is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies. The scholarship provider is the government.


Eligibility:
  • Students who are above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
  • Eligible only for 1st-year students of below-mentioned courses.
  • Having an annual family income of less than 8 lakhs.
  • Pursuing regular MEDICAL and NURSING courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, etc. in Colleges/Institutions recognized by the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, and respective regulatory authorities.
  • Not availing the benefit of any other scholarship scheme including State-run scholarship schemes/Fee waivers and -2- reimbursement schemes are eligible under the scheme.
Benefits:
  • For the first 3 years of graduation, the scholarship fund is Rs.10,000/- per annum, and in the final year of graduation, it's Rs.20,000/-.

  • 4. Income Certificate/ITR/Salary Certificate
  • 5. Student Bank Passbook
  • 6. Current Year Fee receipt/Fee Structure - Tuition and Non Tuition
  • 7. Bonafide Certificate from Institute

  • If you are new, register in the portal and give your basic details.
  • If you are already registered, then continue the application process.
  • At the end of the scholarship application, it will show us the list of scholarship schemes available. Then select CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS.
  • Submit the application form and required documents to your college authority for verification.
