Overview:

ONGC Scholarship 2024-25 is an exclusive scholarship opportunity for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and General categories who are studying in the first year/ started their professional education in the academic year 2024-25  in Engineering, MBBS, MBA, or Master’s in Geophysics/Geology program for the year. Run by ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Company) Limited, under its CSR initiative, the scholarship rewards 2000 meritorious students every year. If you are an Indian national studying in the courses specified, you can apply for the ONGC scholarship scheme to stay advantaged.

   Selected 2000 students will receive a scholarship of INR 48,000 each annually to enable them to complete their education.

Eligibility:

  • Open for students from Pan India.
  • Open for students from SC, ST, OBC, and General categories.
  • Started their first year of Engineering/ MBBS or 1st year of Master’s degree in Geoscience or MBA in 2024-25 academic year.
  • Min. 60% in class 12th for Engineering/ MBBS courses and min. 60% in undergraduate degrees for PG students.
  • Annual income limit up to Rs. 4.5 LPA for SC/ST students and up to 2 LPA for OBCs and General Category students.

Benefits:
  • A fixed amount of INR 48,000/- per year.
  • Can be renewed for the entire course.
  • Scholarships available are:
    • For SC/ST Students – 1,000
    • For OBC Students – 500
    • For General category students – 500
    • 50% of these are reserved for girls.
Documents required:
  • Certified copy of Caste Certificate in Hindi/English. (Vernacular may be provided in extreme cases)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate/Class 10 Mark sheet as proof of age.
  • Copy of Class 12-mark sheet in case of Engineering/MBBS students.
  • Copy of consolidated Graduation mark sheet in case of MBA/Masters in Geology/Geophysics students.
  • Certified copy of the annual income certificate of the family in Hindi/English language. (Vernacular may be provided in extreme cases)
  • Bank details of the applicant in the ECS form attested by the bank as prescribed.
  • Copy of PAN card or the tentative date for submission of PAN card copy (in case it is not available.
  • Copy of College/Institution ID
  • Copy of Colleges/Institution Admission Receipt
  • Copy of undertaking.
